Your AAUP Negotiating Team has begun to review the recommendations from each of the AAUP Study Committees and will begin formal negotiations with the University this summer. As you know, issues to be discussed include:
The team will be working towards an Agreement that protects us, the current faculty, as well as our future colleagues.
YOU are an important part of this process.
The Negotiating Team will communicate with you throughout the summer by email and with regular updates on the AAUP web page (http://www.rider.edu/~aaup) and with messages on the AAUP office phone (896-0092).
They may need to call on you to discuss the progress of the negotiations over the summer. For this purpose, we will coordinate a phone tree to ensure that everyone is contacted directly.
We will need all of the possible phone numbers where you may be reached over the summer. This information will be kept confidential.
